The ever-lovely Willow Smith has covered King Krule's Easy Easy and the results are a simplistic sound paired with a quick strumming guitar. I felt myself wondering if had ever REALLY heard Willow Smith's voice. For me, good covers are executed when the artist trusts his or her voice and sound - and if the alchemy is just right, the results being an entirely new perspective to the song.  Mission accomplished, Willow.

Kendrick's music continues to impress and excite me. He is clearly exploring rapping with different rhythmic scenarios, collaborating with Flying Lotus his flow seemed to compete with FL's synth matrix but his delivery and voice manage to ride the sonic waves in the end.

Julian Casablancas serenades with Human Sadness, an 11 minute long cascade of guitar leads and bass rhythms, moments of surprising electronic vocals all making for a rather appropriate home for The Strokes frontman's signature screech/drawl/purr.
