This season Phillip Lim was inspired to “cut up’ or mix and match, and that he did! He paired sheers with floral prints ,typography and plaid. What might seem as not cohesive turned out to be a beautiful hodge-podge of references. Wahrolian Pop Art, rail road workers, biker chicks, grunge, New York it was there. Each piece truly stands on its own and could weave its self into any girl’s wardrobe. We truly can’t wait to rock this collection our selves! What really stands out about this collection is that while other New York designer are pumping out lady like looks, peplums, stripes and the like Lim took a risk and came up with a unique collection that definitely stood out.
